MSc Course in Sustainable water and sanitation, health and development – A model for cooperation and resource sharing
The goal of this project is to bring partners from various sectors and disciplines working with global water and sanitation challenges together to develop a new 15 study point Master course in planning and implementation of sustainable water and sanitation systems.
Representatives from the industry, non governmental organizations (NGO´s), and universities will work together, sharing knowledge and experiences, to develop a course with a multiperspective/multidisciplinary approach where partners will be involved in both the development and delivery process. The course will activate and motivate the students through problem-based learning and a focus on practical Net-based cases derived from the daily work of NGO and industrial partners.

To provide flexibility and the opportunity for both on-campus and off-campus students including working professionals from NGOs and industry, the course will be module based and ‘blended’ combining both face to face and net-based learning. To promote sharing, course materials will be made available on an interactive DVD. The course will be given in English.
