The scope of the conference

  • Determining the lifelong learning students and how to reach out to them
  • Best practices and new business models for universities in lifelong learning
  • What is the new demand and what can universities offer in terms of lifelong training courses or programmes?
  • Defining new models of partnership in lifelong learning between universities and enterprises
  • The conference will provide a contribution to identify and review new opportunities for enhancing employability. In that context what is the added value of distance modalities?

The themes of the conference

From the conference scope six leading conference themes are derived: Open Educational Resources, Virtual Mobility, Quality Assurance and Benchmarking, University Strategies and Business Models, Research and Employability.
During the conference, a series of plenary and parallel sessions will be guiding the audience through the various aspects of networked teaching and learning in a knowledge society.
Submissions on each of the conference themes are welcome, though need not be limited to them.
