The Book in Two Parts

Part one of the book reflects on the institutionalised approaches to distance education and e-learning, the reform and development through sustained social and educational policies and practices.

The second part of the book explores the continued impact of ICT on teaching and learning.

The articles assembled span over eight years reflecting on an evolving process, highlighting the change how actors in distance and e-learning have engaged with ICT, and how researchers have examined the new technologies and evolved conceptual analyses.
